Hurricane Season 2021 – We’ve Reached the Peak!
9/8/2021 (Permalink)
Tracking tropical activity throughout hurricane season is commonplace for many residents of the Florida Panhandle. In Bay County, after experiencing Hurricane Michael in 2018, our community members know all too well the devastation that can occur from a strong hurricane. The peak of Hurricane Season 2021 officially falls on September 10th, just two days from now, and the tropics are continuing to produce an above average number of storms this year.
If you are not already prepared for the possibility of a tropical system making landfall in your area, now is the time! Making a hurricane preparedness kit, verifying you have the correct insurance in place for your home and/or business, and creating an emergency plan for yourself and your family are just a few of the tasks to be done. Be sure to account for children, pets, and elderly family members in all your planning activities as well.
As this hurricane season progresses, remember that SERVPRO of Bay County is your locally owned and operated cleanup and restoration specialist, and we have the resources to respond to damages of all sizes.
